- close to 963 people world wide are hungry
- every five seconds a child dies because he or she was hungry
- every year almost 15 million kids die of hunger
-one in twelve people are malnourished
These facts are so sad.
I find it so pathetic that one third of the USA is obese and countries like India, Kenya and China have hundreds of people die every day from being malnourished. An American can leave their house, travel five minutes & find a McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King or even a gas station filled with food. I dunno, I just saw a commercial talking about ending world hunger. And I just think it’s selfish for America to be having all of these fastfoods companies, and the Americans eating it everyday turning them into overweight fatasses. I’m super grateful that I don’t live in a povershed country and have food available to me wherever I go. So when you say ”FML” “I hate my life” “I’d rather be dead”… think about it. Some kid would die to be where you are now. So don’t be negative and be happy for what you do have. Whatever, it just sucks that it’s like that and that as your reading this eating whatever, a kid just died from lack of food.
